Acceptance of Terms

By accessing theeditormethod.com or enrolling in any course or product offered by The Editor Method, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase our products.

The Course

What's included

Course enrollment grants you access to the live sessions, recorded replays, downloadable materials, worksheets, and the private cohort Discord community for the duration of your cohort and a post-cohort access period as specified at the time of purchase.

Cohort schedule

Live sessions are scheduled in advance and communicated by email. We make every effort to maintain the schedule. If a session must be rescheduled, we'll give at least 48 hours notice and provide a recording if you cannot attend the rescheduled time.

Recording and replay

Sessions are recorded and made available to enrolled students. Recordings are for your personal use only — you may not share, redistribute, or resell them.

Refund Policy

The Week 1 Guarantee: If after completing Week 1 you determine the course is not the right fit, contact us within 7 days of the first live session for a full refund. No questions asked.

After the Week 1 refund window, all sales are final. We strongly encourage you to:

  • Read the free chapter before purchasing
  • Book an intro call if you have questions about fit
  • Review the full curriculum on the sales page

Intellectual Property

All course content — including lesson scripts, slide decks, worksheets, templates, recorded sessions, and written materials — is owned by The Editor Method and protected by copyright.

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Use the materials for your own personal and professional development
  • Apply the frameworks and templates within your organization

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute course materials
  • Share login credentials or recordings with non-enrolled individuals
  • Use course content to create competing educational products

Code of Conduct

The cohort Discord and live sessions are professional environments. We expect participants to:

  • Treat fellow students and instructors with respect
  • Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior
  • Keep cohort discussions confidential — what's shared in the cohort stays in the cohort

Violation of the code of conduct may result in removal from the cohort without refund.

Disclaimer

The course teaches frameworks, methodologies, and best practices based on research and professional experience. Results will vary based on your organization's context, technical maturity, and how you apply the material. We make no guarantee of specific business outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Editor Method's liability for any claim arising from your use of the course or site is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active students. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
